Before You Plug Your Health Into AI, Watch This
AI is officially knocking on the clinic door. Tools like ChatGPT Health and Claude for Healthcare are asking to plug directly into lab results, visit notes, and even your wearables. That’s powerful, but it also means your most intimate health data is moving through systems that aren’t always built—or regulated—with women in mind.
This short explainer breaks down what these tools actually do, how they’re evaluated for safety, where bias and privacy risks show up, and four simple rules to use them as prep and advocacy assistants—not as your doctor.
Hit play to see what you need to know before you upload anything.
This explainer was created using Google’s NotebookLM. You’ll notice spelling errors, audio skips, and other quirks. We could have edited them out but felt it best to leave them in to show that this technology is not perfect. While it is a useful tool, it is by no means the perfect tool. We encourage you to do your own research and have real conversations with real people.
We’d love to know your thoughts! Join the Discord and join in on the discussion on if AI in our healthcare system is a good thing or are we living in a weird Black Mirror-like episode (maybe both!).
CHF Takes on CES 2026
I just got back from CES 2026 in Las Vegas, where 140,000+ people packed into halls full of “what’s next” in tech. And if there was one constant across the show floor, it was this: AI, mixed reality & spatial computing are no longer side quests… they’re the main storyline 👀
Everywhere you turned, AI was embedded into something—cars, healthcare tools, creative suites, smart home devices—while XR/AR experiences turned screens into full-body environments. Entertainment leaders, hardware companies, and creative teams were all asking the same question: how do we use AI and immersive tech to tell better stories, not just automate more noise?
Three signals that matter for CreateHERs:
Agentic + Personal Assistive AI: From “copilot” tools to autonomous workflows, companies are betting on AI that doesn’t just answer questions, but takes actions on our behalf.
Spatial & embodied computing: New waves of AR glasses, mixed-reality platforms, and 3D collaboration tools point to a future where interfaces live around us, not just on our laptops.
Access & inclusion as a business case: CES programming and award tracks emphasized accessibility, longevity, and inclusive innovation as pillars of market-ready products, not afterthoughts.
For us, events like CES aren’t a spectacle.
They’re a reminder of what and why we're learning and building inside CreateHER Fest’s community and through #75HER; AI, AR/VR, Blockchain infrastructure, cybersecurity, product thinking, etc. are exactly the skills these companies need, but still don't have enough diverse voices shaping. I left CES energized and even more committed to preparing our community not just to participate in what’s coming next, but to shape it. Expect what we learned there to show up directly in upcoming #75HER workshops, programming, and partnerships this year.
The future on display in Vegas is being staffed, funded, and shipped right now.
The rooms I just walked through at CES 2026? They're the rooms you belong in as builders, founders, and decision-makers.
#75HER Challenge In Motion: What’s Next
We’ve officially kicked off #75HER, completed our first workshop 🎉. Today’s #75HER workshop with author and speaker Sheena Yap Chan was all about making your confidence VISIBLE as a leader in tech. She walked us through her VISIBLE framework and had us turn those letters into reality: speaking up before we feel ready, naming our expertise without shrinking, and writing confidence statements we can actually drop into bios, intros, and pitches.
Over the next 75 days we’ll keep stacking skills in AI, blockchain, AR/VR, cybersecurity, and builder mindsets—each session designed to move you closer to a portfolio-ready project for our International Women’s Day demo day.
Not registered for #75HER yet? The future of tech is yours to claim!
Check out the #75HER workshop calendar below to RSVP, and make sure you’re fully registered to receive replays if you missed the first session, and plug into what’s coming next.
FeaturingHER: The Leaders Who Make CreateHER Fest Possible

We’re proud to recognize & celebrate every CreateHER volunteer who helped us build!
As we step into a new year, we want to pause and appreciate our biggest strength, because none of this happens without the people who consistently show up behind the scenes.
To our CreateHER Community Leaders: We can’t thank you enough for the value you bring to this community. Each of you offers care, conviction, and expertise from your own lanes, while choosing to pour that energy into building something for and bigger than us all.
Your leadership supports our builders, strengthens our programs, and makes it possible for us to serve this global community with intention and integrity. From community and content to technical support, programming, logistics, and mentorship, your dedication is the foundation that allows CreateHER Fest to exist and evolve.
We start this new year grounded in deep gratitude and respect for the team that got us here. Thank you for your talent, your belief, your consistency, and your time! We’re so proud to build alongside you <3
