This Week’s HERstory Maker is Angie Jones! Today, she's the VP of Engineering, AI Tools & Enablement at Block, Inc. — and she holds 27 software patents across virtual worlds, social networking, and software development.

Angie’s career has been one of innovation and community giving. She built Test Automation University, a free online platform that has trained over 100,000 engineers worldwide, because she saw the gap in the pipeline and said: not on my watch. She taught Java at Durham Technical Community College to students who needed to see someone who looked like them at the front of the room. She volunteers with Black Girls Code. She shows up, over and over again. She's a Java Champion. A GitHub Star. An Ebony Power 100 honoree. The keynote at our #75HER Kickoff, empowering women to be builders in AI regardless of how qualified they felt.
